See my art up close and personal in cool locations

Freshly recovered from a wonderful Silicon Valley Open Studios (SVOS), a lot of stuff is happening over the next couple of weeks! My art is on show in three locations.

How cool is that?

The Piano

Yes, if you have followed my blog and my art adventures, you know about the piano. To my joy and amazement it is now time. The piano has found a home in an amazing space in Redwood City, 500 County Center. That is the brand new, super nice building of the county of San Mateo. And the piano was delivered on their 169th birthday!

I know it has been a long time coming, but I am so happy the piano is inside and in such an amazing building.

Waiting to be played! Who is next?

I would never have thought that the theme I created 2 years ago would just match the location. I hope that as people walk in they see the piano and remember the amazing place they can call home. Vibrant culture, wonderful parks, and of course an amazing nature surrounding the city.

Enjoy, and if you are in the neighborhood, please do sit down and give the piano a play!

Camp Fluff at the Little Raven Gallery

Now, for those who know my work, the Camp Fluff team has picked an appropriate image to put on their website. I really feel like taking Piggy & Bear to San Francisco... and maybe some other real new work, hot off the easel. Excited? Come and say hello for the one evening pop-up art show!

Ferry Building - Wow

And last but not least, I've been selected to exhibit Emotions of Humanity at the Grand Hall of the Ferry building as part of Brightside. Here is the event description from Artspan:

"ArtSpan and the San Francisco Ferry Building invite you to join us for Brightside, a joyful Art-In-Neighborhoods exhibition celebrating the light, energy, and transformation of summertime through the eyes of five local ArtSpan Artist Members.

Set beneath the Ferry Building’s iconic skylight, Brightside transforms the Grand Hall into a vibrant pop-up gallery featuring large-format 2D and low-relief 3D wall-hanging works. This playful and nostalgic showcase invites you to reflect on the beauty of the season, the glow of long summer evenings, and the many ways art connects us to place, memory, and one another.

Come experience art, connect with the artists, and enjoy light bites and drinks alongside friends, family, and the Ferry Building community. Supported by the Port of San Francisco."

There are two main events and public viewings:

Artist Reception on Thursday June 5, 2025 from 5pm - 8pm. Get your free (or $10 with drinks) tickets at EventBrite here.
